Youth Softball

Registration: November 17, 2025 - January 11, 2026

Late Registration: January 12-19, 2026 with a $10 late fee

Season: February to end-April

Ages: 5-13

Participants must be between the ages of 5-13 as of August 31, 2025.  

Games will be held during weekdays primarily or weekends as needed against teams from Pelham and other neighboring cities.

Practices will begin February 2, 2026. 2 pre-season practices per week until games start. Practices can be on any day of the week.

Games will begin February 28 or first weekday of March.

Jersey Fittings: Pelham Rec Center Multipurpose Room; TBA

Player Evaluations: Saturday, January 24. Times TBA. Location will be at Geaux Play Training and Fitness. 2790 Pelham Pkwy, Pelham, AL 35124.

No-shows to player evals will be auto-assigned to a team during team selections.

Picture Day: TBA

Player Camp/Clinic: TBA; will be at the Pelham High School Softball Field. Coached by PHS softball coaches/players.

Team Selections: Week following evals. Mon, Jan 25 - Fri, Jan 30

If you are interested in coaching, please sign up online and complete the necessary paperwork.

Uniform Sizing: If your child has played before we will be using the same brand of jersey from previous seasons.

Parents will need to purchase cleats, fielding glove, fielding mask, bat and batting helmet.

Parks & Rec provides two game jerseys, socks, and a hair ribbon/visor upon player's request. Teams' head coach will decide on color of pants and must be identical.

Refunds: Once uniforms have been ordered we will not be able to refund a full registration fee.

Registration Requests for a specific coach, jersey number, or to play with a friend are not guaranteed.
