Spring Youth Softball - 2025 Spring | REGISTER |
Registration: December 2, 2024 - January 8, 2025 Late Registration: January 9-15, 2025 with a $10 late fee Season: mid-February to mid-May Ages: 5-12 Participants must be the ages of 5-12 by or on September 1, 2024. We will be sanctioned with USA softball for the 2025 season. Games will be held during the weekdays against teams from Alabaster, Calera, Chelsea, Columbiana, Helena, and Montevallo. Practices will begin mid-February. 2 pre-season practices per week until games start. Practices can be on any day of the week. Games will begin mid-March. Opening Day date TBA. Jersey Fittings: Pelham Rec Center Multipurpose Room; TBA Player Evaluations: Times and Location TBA No-shows to player evals will be auto-assigned to a team during team selections. Player Camp/Clinic: TBA at the Pelham High School Softball Field. Led by PHS coaches and players Team Selections: TBA. Coaches only. If you are interested in coaching, please sign up online and complete the necessary paperwork. Uniform Sizing: If your child has played before we will be using the same brand of socks and jerseys from previous seasons. Parents will need to purchase cleats, fielding glove, bat, fielding mask and caged batting helmet. Parks & Rec provides two game jerseys, hair ribbon, and socks. Teams will decide on color of pants and must be identical. Refunds: Once uniforms have been ordered we will not be able to refund a full registration fee. Registration Requests for a specific coach, jersey number, or to play with a friend are not guaranteed.
