The City also has rules specific to each sport and a Code of Conduct for each sport. Athletic participants, volunteer coaches, and parents are subject to basic rules, which emphasize sportsmanlike behavior and the recreational nature of city leagues.

We currently offer the following youth sports:

Volunteer Coaches

You don't have to be experienced to be a volunteer coach for Pelham Parks & Recreation. If you are interested, please fill out a coach application on your Jarvis account homepage.

The City of Pelham conducts annual background checks on all volunteers associated with its recreational programs. These include national and state criminal history checks. Individuals that do not consent to the background check are not allowed to volunteer. Pelham Parks & Recreation coaches are also required to complete the CoachSafely program annually. After you complete the CoachSafely course, please email your certificate to our athletic staff.
